‘Trends and Takeaways’ blog analyzes this year’s biggest marketing game changers. Gold Lasso, a multichannel marketing software provider is releasing a synopsis of its ‘Trends and Takeaways’ entries from the past year. Trends and Takeaways, a subset of Gold Lasso’s original blog, ‘The From Line’, just completed its first year of production and boasts a library of over 30 entries. Each post explores a current or emerging trend within the multichannel marketing realm and provides a “How To” as well as insights into its implications for the future. Gold Lasso takes pride in providing their customers and the marketing community with intriguing and relevant industry content and the Trends and Takeaways blog is just one of several resources the company provides to accomplish this. The 2011 Marketing Trends Recap, along with a host of other resources, is available to download in the Resource Center on the Gold Lasso website. Danielle Ashery, VP of client services commented “We put a great deal of effort into identifying and researching each trend. Our goal is to provide our clients with exceptional customer service; maintaining a valuable resource like the blog is an important part of that. We pride ourselves on being lifelong learners and through the The From Line and Trends and Takeaways, we are able to invite our readers to do the same.” The year in review presentation includes analysis and advice on a wide array of topics. For example, a recent post examined the shift in usage from Firefox and Internet Explorer to Chrome. It noted that Chrome was predicted to pass Firefox within the next two months and then further explored what this would mean for marketers. It was concluded that marketers would need to pay close attention to the behaviors of their audience and design accordingly. Ensuring proper message rendering within the correct browser would be essential. Additional information about this trend, along with others such as multichannel integration, list management, SPAM laws, deliverability, location based services and marketing automation is available to download.
