Elie Ashery

Elie is a true entrepreneur who has dedicated his career to the Internet and new media. He is responsible for the vision and strategy execution for Gold Lasso and drives the innovation behind the Company’s products and services. Elie’s career as an Internet entrepreneur has been chronicled in numerous media outlets including Entrepreneur Magazine, The Wall Street Journal, Inc. Magazine and most recently in The Washington Post. Elie has written numerous articles for trade journals and blogs covering a wide range of Internet marketing topics from strategy to ethics and speaks regularly at various trade events. In 2007 he was asked to provide research and write the forward for the book The Complete Guide To E-mail Marketing by Bruce Brown. Elie donates his time to both religious and secular charities as well as provides entrepreneurial mentorship. Elie holds a bachelor degree in finance from the University of Maryland’s Robert H. Smith School of Business and is currently enrolled in their Executive MBA program.

Danielle Ashery

Danielle (Dani) is responsible for client management, education and satisfaction. Her development of educational programs gives our clients an edge by providing them with the necessary information to ensure their marketing efforts are successful. Danielle has several years experience in the association/non-profit marketing industry. Danielle started her career as a marketing coordinator at NASA's Center for AeroSpace Information where she was responsible for NASA's technology transfer publications and marketing collateral. Following her tenure at NASA, Danielle repositioned herself as a marketing and communications manager at Smith, Bucklin & Associates (SBA), the world's leading association management firm. While at SBA, Danielle was responsible for orchestrating the development, maintenance, and growth of all marketing programs including strategic planning, conference promotion, budget analysis, membership materials, media relations, publications and electronic communications for SBA's major accounts. Danielle is Gold Lasso’s first employee, and was instrumental in helping to get the company off the ground in its early days. Without her tireless efforts and dedication to its clients, Gold Lasso would still be a dream. Danielle holds bachelors degrees in Communications and Spanish from Towson State University.

Michael Weisel

As a hands-on technology professional, Michael is the architect of Gold Lasso’s systems and product development. He is responsible for all technology related decisions however specializes in email delivery and systems management. His calm and helpful demeanor, an atypical trait for his profession, accelerated him through the ranks of several federal government contractors until he was recruited by CRIIMI MAE, a large real estate investment trust, as their senior systems engineer. Michael later became vice president of an IT consulting firm that specialized in servicing trade associations in the Washington, D.C. area. Michael attended University of Maryland where he pursued a degree in Computer Science.
