eLoop5 Updates - Imports, Modules, and Validation Oh My!

Happy Tuesday everyone!

There are a few more bug fixes that have been put into place over the last few days as well as the addition of a great new import feature. Also, we will be turning future updates into a weekly RSS to email campaign that will package all that information into an easy to read email. If you aren't familiar with RSS to email, especially if you have a blog or anything containing an RSS feed, you're missing out on a valuable yet simple email automation method. Hit us up if you have any questions about it and one of our knowledgeable support reps will point you in the right direction. Now on to the updates...

First off we pushed a new import feature in to production that allows you to control overwriting blank data fro your file.  Basically what this means is that if you had a datapoint in eLoop called "FirstName" with a value of "Michael" and you imported a new file where my value was blank (no data), you know have the ability to not overwrite that value with no data thus retaining the data already in eLoop.  Whew that was a mouth full.  The option is found in step 3 of the import process.  This feature credit and shout out goes out to Katie D'Aiuto :)  Thanks Katie for being so patient while we got this built.

We have also added a couple of minor bug fixes to this last development build.  There is now validation for entering in data that exceeds the limit for a datapoint.  This only applies to "text" datapoints.  This means that if your datapoint is set to 50 characters (which is the minimum as well as the default) and you try and enter in text that is 60 characters then it will throw a red error at the top of the screen.

Along with the above bug fix we have added the "size" value in the datapoint module.

Lastly we made some adjustments to the Campaign Wizard that is launched from the dashboard.  The categories were not showing the correct message folders which has now been resolved.

As always we appreciate all of your feedback.  If you have any questions, please let us know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it..
